22-year-old Hugo Diaz Chavez of Live Oak was arrested for assault with a firearm on a person, robbery, conspiracy to commit a crime, probation violations and several possessions of narcotics related charges. His bail is set at $50,000. First court appearance is October 16, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
25-year-old Francisco Ramos of Live Oak was arrested for robbery and conspiracy to commit a crime. His bail is set at $50,000. First court appearance is October 16, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
Live Oak, CA — The Sutter County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred in Live Oak late Tuesday evening, October 13, 2026.
Deputies responded after a victim reported being threatened with a firearm and robbed near the Live Oak Skate Park. The victim reported that two male suspects were involved in the incident before fleeing the area.
Both suspects have since been taken into custody. The investigation remains ongoing, and the names of the suspects and their associated charges will be released later today.
The Sheriff’s Office appreciates the community’s cooperation and will provide additional information as it becomes available.
