10/08/2026 "Media Release" - Yuba County Sheriff's Department
On Thursday, Oct. 1 at approximately 3 p.m., the YCSO received a call from CAL FIRE regarding a deceased subject located south of Plumas Lake, near Feather River Blvd.
Detectives have identified and confirmed that the deceased subject is 28-year-old Jordan Carson of Sacramento. While narcotics paraphernalia were located in Carson’s possession at the scene, the cause of death remains pending further investigation.

10.02.2026 "Media Release" - Yuba County Sheriff's Department
On Thursday, Oct. 1 at approximately 3 p.m., the YCSO received a call from CAL FIRE regarding a deceased subject located south of Plumas Lake, near Feather River Blvd.
Deputies responded and located the individual, who appeared to be a male. Narcotics paraphernalia were located in the deceased subject’s possession. Due to the length of time the individual has been deceased, identity and cause are pending further investigation.
